Networked Mini-tech intervention guide
- Your brigade manager will be able to provide you with a schedule of short monthly meetings at which you can review your work and any problems encountered.
- Introduce yourself to the other classes in the school and explain your role as Mini-tech.
- Record your requests and interventions in a shared document or calendar, which will make it easier for your meetings. A student from the brigade can be responsible for this document.
- If you encounter a technical problem and can't solve it, contact your brigade manager.
- You can also make inspection visits to classrooms and premises to identify problems or anomalies.
- As an extension to the training, you could ask a RECIT manager or IT technician to give you a presentation on the operation of certain digital devices (e.g. Whiteboards, Robots, Micro:bit, etc.).
